I love to cook but I don't follow rules very well. Usually when I attempt to follow a recipe I end up changing it someway, somehow.
I've made and tweaked my spinach artichoke dip so that it is cheap, healthier than you think, and very yummy in the tummy.
Oh and I forgot one thing, it's super duper easy.
Ingredients:
-Spinach (it can be fresh or frozen)
-Can of artichoke hearts
-Jar of alfreado sauce (many brands actually have less fat in them than any other creamy thing)
-Garlic if you like, or any other spice.
(Total Prep time: 5 min.)
(Total cook time: depends on preference)
Sautee spinach in pan with garlic and anything else you would like (spices, oils, etc)
for about 3 minutes.
Take sauteed spinach out and put in a blender
Add can of artichoke hearts and and alfreado sauce.
Blend to consistency you would like.
Put it in the oven and let it solidify and get hot and nice. Some people sprinkle cheese on it. Bread or chips or veggies are good accompaniments.
