Are Canada and Europe becoming economic trading partners? Maybe...


The National Post just wrote an article about a possible future economic relationship between Canada and Europe. Quebec has been pushing for it and France's former Prime Minister Edouard Balladur is totally down too (and he advises Sarkozy).


Usually, I'm more for protectionist trade policies but this one seems quite interesting. Since both Europe and Canada are semi-socialist republics who also engage in global free-trade economics, this might not be a bad idea. Hmmm....
