Recently, AIG has been in the news for various reasons, most of them disliked by the general public.
So the latest news states that AIG has decided to divert some of the bailout funds for executive bonuses and this piece of information has left most Americans angry and extremely frustrated.
Well here are ways to vent that anger at the people responsible for this mess:
Contact AIG
Click here to e-mail them and tell them how you feel about their behavior. This may not help the bank account, but in a capitalist society the "consumer" is suppossed to have purchasing power, so let them know how you feel about their company and let them know you (and the rest of America) is no longer in need of their services.
Another way to get a hold of them, is to call them up and give 'em hell!
Call AIG and express your opinion:
If you are in the US: 1-877-638-4244
If you are outside the US: 1-908-679-3150
In order to show these corrupt companies who's boss, you (an an individual and a tax payer) need to stay in the loop about what is going on.
One way to do this is to subscribe to the White House blog. Obama's administration has made it a priority to keep citizens updated on White House matters through their website and especially through their blog.
Subscribe to the blog and/or RSS feed by clicking here.
And if you think Obama is doing a good job or a bad job, e-mail him or call him to let him know. Click here to get on it.
Now remember, constructive criticism is swell but compliments should be given when they are well deserved.
Don't be apathetic, be proactive and tell these jerks that we are not going to let them ruin America.
“An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.” - Martin Luther King Jr.
