Fox News vs. The White House

I have written several posts about the drastic decline of American media and Fox news is at the top of the list in terms of how they spew propaganda that does not even ring true in any regard.
Just to play devil's advocate I believe that is always important to question what the government is doing and hold it accountable when it is not being transparent. However, you cannot simply make up things and call it news. Fox has done a fabulous job at using
"buzz words" to scare the hell out of Americans who can't afford to get a proper enough education to call Fox what it is: an incoherent,jingoistic, propaganda machine that wants to bring the Obama administration down.
Now if the Obama administration lied about 9/11, forged a war against a country that didn't have WMD's, and single-handedly brought the world's richest nation into the deepest recession we have yet seen, then I would understand where Fox news was coming from. However, when you look at Fox's treatment of the Bush administration in comparison to its treatment of the Obama administration one must beg the question, What the fuck is wrong with Fox news?

If you watch this video you might get a sense of the type of rhetoric Fox employs to try and scare the masses to the best of its ability. The When they throw out words like, "socialism, communism, terrorism, Islam/Muslim, racism," in a completely random order that makes no sense it is hard to take them seriously. But that is the problem, people do take Fox news seriously. Many Americans actually trust it as a news source and this is wrong. There should be a disclaimer stating that the views of this network are just opinions thought up by conservatives who don't check their facts and should not be considered a coherent media outlet.



I'm not liberal or conservative (I actually registered independent) but I am rational. I may be critical of my home country but it is because I love it and don't want it to fail. Fox news is a major fail and a huge blemish on the U.S.'s image at home and abroad.
Fox states its network is "Fair and balanced," however distorting the news is not fair nor balanced. Unlike Fox, I am totally willing and able to defend my opinion with actual evidence and anyone who would like to take me up on it is welcome to do it. I'll make the tea, you bring the cookies.
