If you know me, then you know I love two things:
1) Having fun
2) A great bargain
When those two things combine, i'm bascially set for life.
One big groan the Olympics has caused is how freaking expensive it is to get a ticket to the games. Since i'm not really a "go team go" kinda person, I'm more interested in the cultural events.
Here is the "definitive guide to low cost fun" provided by Caucus Vancouver...
And here are my picks for the low-to-no cost things you can do while in Vancouver, (aka the most beautiful place on Earth):
Alberta House: Located at Robson and Davie
Vancouver Art Gallery (VAG)
English Bay Light Display
Whistler Round-up
Zipline Vancouver: Located on Robson St.
Vancouver Streets to Watch: Located on Robson, Hamilton, Mainland and Granville street.
Sochi House: Put on by Russia (and we all know that the Russians go big or go home).
Saskatchewan Pavilion: Located between Sochi House and and BC Place.
Ontario Pavilion: Located right by Skatch-town pavilion (in between Sochi House and BC Place).
Quebec House (Maison Quebece en francais): Located at the Concord Pacific site. You know the Quebecois are good for two things: starting a riot and, starting a riot (aka party time).
LiveCity Yaletown: This part of town is known for thinking its more awesome than it is, but hey its free so check it out and see what all the fuss is about.
Have fun and when in Rome do as the Romans which means be nice because the stereotype about Canadians is true.
