So, we've all heard a bit too much about this recession thing, and I'm not sure that I believe anyone about anything anymore. But I do believe in taking charge of my own finances and Motley Fool is the best place to start.
What I like most about them is that they tell you the truth by cutting out the bull. Of course you have the power to take care of your own finances, and just because some investment company on TV tells you otherwise, does not mean you should listen. Plus, in the past they got greedy by underperforming with your money, so why would you trust them now?
I have many wonderful friends who just got out of college (aka university) and they are eager to start fresh and manage their finances responsibly. Here is a great place to start:

Don't delay, become financially independent today! Actually, scratch that last statement, it sounded a little too "sleazy salesman" for my liking.
