Vancouver's first annual Velopalooza will hopefully not be the last

Summer + biking = good times had by all.

Therefore, why not devote a whole week of awesome events dedicated to those two wheels that make life more pleasurable.

Bike lovers of Vancouver have done just that. I saw their awesome artistic ad (pictured above) in Bandidas, a bike-friendly vegetarian taqueria, and immediately got excited.

The problem is that the website, velopalooza.ca wasn't as easy to find.

When I googled it, it didn't come up in the search results, boo! So, I've decided to add my tiny two cents in the mix so hopefully this week of awesome bike events will get more publicity.

Velopalooza in Vancity runs from June 4nd to 13th for a total of ten days of bike awesomeness.

The events of the week include themed bike rides like,
a superhero ride
a yummy gelato ride
a cargo-bike/trailer ride
and the Naked bike ride to top things off (or take things off, hehe. Ya, i'm clever like that)

All the events can be found on their website and there is a forum linked to many of the events so you can comment and get the latest info on who's wearing what and more importantly who's riding what!

UPDATE: Some nice person actually read this post and encouraged me to tell all y'all to volunteer.

E-mail them at: info@velopalooza.ca to help out!
