Oh My God, Steven Harper reads my blog and is changing cell phone restrictions because of it!

YOU ARE WELCOME CANADA!

I don't know if you remember (you being the only person that reads this thing) but one of my first blogs was about how Canadian cellphone companies suck big time and charge their customers way way too much!

Well, Steven Harper was in BC today (and totally checking out my blog) because he made a statement in Victoria saying that cell companies cannot charge their customers for unsolicited texts anymore.
He was in Victoria, the capital of BC stating, "We are obviously responding to a specific concern, which is the imposition of charges for unsolicited text messages,'' "We think this is completely unfair to consumers; completely unwarranted.''
Read the whole article if you want.

Harper knows that Canadian cell phone companies cannot get away with their greedy greedy cell phone plans and he is attempting to take a stand against this.

Ok, so he is not eliminating costs on all text messages but this is at least a start.

P.S. I'm 99.9% that Harper does not read my blog, but a girl can dream can't she?

lol. u never know. he might have read it... i just hope you are dreaming of Stephen calling to congratulate you on your blog and that you will now be paying far less on your phone rates instead of showing up on your doorstep with flowers and asking you for a date at Tim Hortons
