High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) is as safe to consume as sugar. NOT!!!!

High Fructose Corn Syrup (aka HRCS; a way cheaper alternative to sugar) has been single-handedly making fast food and beverage companies rich rich rich, and they do not want that to change.

In response to many different doctors and health organizations blaming HRCS for causing obesity becuase this man-made chemical is more difficult for the body to process.

Here is a quick lesson in nutrition. When you consume sugar, it is turned into energy in your body and we use that energy to do everything (walk, run, think, etc.). If that energy is not used it is stored and turns into fat; which is why many of us are fat.
HOWEVER, the problem with HFCS is that when we consume it the body does not recognize it as a type of sugar so it only gets stored, instead of getting burned as energy.

This new evidence made many corporations like Pepsi Co., Tropicana, Quaker and others listed here have claimed to have done their own research with their own doctors that says, "Confirm High Fructose Corn Syrup [is] No Different From Sugar," and that anything suggesting otherwise is "speculation."

My take on it is you should not believe doctors who are paid by corporations to do research on stuff like this.

PLEASE read this article about how corporations are exploiting science to come up with results that make them more money!
