Gavin Newsom drops out of California Governor race, what are they going to do with the campaign $$$$$

I supported Gavin Newsom in running for California governor. I liked his platform focused around ending unemployment and redistrbuting funds back to California citizens instead of having all the capital flow out through foreign investments.
However, that hope of him becoming governor is gone, and now I'm pissed. His reason?
Reuters reports, "With a young family and responsibilities at city hall, I have found it impossible to commit the time required to complete this effort the way it needs to be - and should be - done." Ummm, didn't you think of that before you started campaigning? If you were already a politician (Mayor of San Francisco) then you must have realized that trying to campaign for a much higher title (Governor) would mean a lot more work. But I guess he's too pretty for that.
I might sound out of line but the biggest reason i'm pissed is because I got a mass of e-mails asking for money to support his campaign. Now, I never donated, but I did think about it from time to time. Not like he needsd the money, he was rich before he became mayor and anyone who's anyone knows that if you want to run for office in the U.S. you need tons of $$$$$$. So, my real question is.....what are you going to do with all that campaign money?

Seriously, I'm sure they raked in a couple hundre thousand dollars, is that money going to get redistributed into the economy or what? Is Mr. Newsom going to pocket it?
The thing that bugs me the most is that Mr. Newsom was demanding more transparency in goverment affairs, and now I demand the same from him and his now obsolete campaign.
If I find out anymore details i'll post them here, but for now, booooooooo Mr. Newsom!
