
United Airlines can suck it!
I'm sorry for being so crass but its true.
United Airlines has gone from bad to worse in terms of treating their employees right and satisfying their customers.
I flew from Canada to San Francisco with Air Canada and I flew united from San Francisco to Vancouver on my way back.
First, I stood in line only to be pushed around by a bunch of employees that were literally telling people the WRONG information. They told me I couldn't be flying United if I flew with Air Canada on my way down and when I showed them my electronic ticket they shrugged their shoulders and sighed, "meh."
Next, they told the woman who had ONE bag to check that because it was over weight it would cost her $175!!!! For one bag. The lady sighed and paid the fee and the employee looked as if she had just worked two overtime shifts and couldn't stand anymore.
I could go on and on about how horrible the service is...how they charge you for one checked bag, ski's and anything else you might actually want to bring on a trip (God forbid).
Back before the airlines were deregulated (you have Reagan to thank for that) airlines actually competed for how well they could treat their customers. Unfortunately, most of us were too young to experience an airline treat its customers right now its like we have to thank the airlines for allowing us onto their crappy out-dated planes.
I really hope United is listening because we, the people, the consumers, have choices and every time you overcharge your customers and under appreciate your employees....a mermaid somewhere dies.
