The Very Best is still the very best! Regardless of whether you catch my drift, read on

I love and hate confusing band names.

This relationship started with hate when my dad told me at a young age his favorite band was "The Band" and I thought he was teasing me for many of the informative years of my life.

Now, although I am older I am none the wiser. When my friend told me to look up, "The Very Best" my immediate response was, "the very best of what?"

Now, I have said you a lot of time by just adding the link to this post but if you google, "the very best" its quite interesting what comes up, have fun with that one.

Ok, now on to the review:
Friday, May 28th, 2010.
Biltmore Cabaret.
Tickets say show at 9pm, no one came on until 10:30.
Failed to remember or inquire about the openers, wasn't that impressed.
DJ My Gay Husband kept it fresh for intermission.
They Very Best breaks onto the stage like an explosion with many hipster casualties.
Seriously, these guys were hanging from the ceiling and they did not drop the energy for one second.
They kidnapped and held our attention at ransom the entire time. Even the bouncers and security team was dancing.
No one could contain themselves.
They transformed this small hipster venue into a club in Malawi. No one dared to stand still, swishing and swaying was a bare minimum.
A wave of people crashed the stage, they did not skip a beat...they played better.
It was not a concert, it was an experience, like you felt a little bit better about living after. Now that's what I call a show.

I talked to one of the singers after and told him about my experience googling them.
"What came up when you tried to search us?" He inquired.
"The very best of...Barbara Streisand." I replied.

"Well thanks for not giving so quickly." He said.
"I'm really glad I didn't." I answered.
