Umm...where do I start?
I have written previous blogs about religious extremists (look up "God to Christian extremists: there are more important things to do than rally against Gay marriage") and I have issues with people who think they can speak on behalf of God.
This South Carolina Catholic priest Jay Scott Newman has told his parishioners that if they voted 'Barack Hussein Obama' and don't ask for forgiveness for doing so before taking the Body and Blood of Christ, their souls will be at risk! Don't worry he wrote this all in a letter to all his parishioners.
This country was built upon the foundation of the separation of church and state, and even though things have obviously changed,
Religions + Politics = the crappiest cocktail ever!
Listen, Mr. "I'm speaking through God" you must separate your own opinions from that of God! Just because you are a "man of God" does not mean you can personally hate apples and then declare them the devil.
Here is what he said about why Obama sucks, because he must not have anything better to do:
"Our nation has chosen for its chief executive the most radical pro-abortion politician ever to serve in the United States Senate or to run for president. Voting for a pro-abortion politician when a plausible pro-life alternative exists constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil, and those Catholics who do so place themselves outside of the full communion of Christ's Church and under the judgment of divine law. Persons in this condition should not receive Holy Communion until and unless they are reconciled to God in the Sacrament of Penance, lest they eat and drink their own condemnation."
Speaking from the standpoint of a former Eucharistic Minister (aka bread and wine giver), I don't want your crappy stale bread and cheap wine anyway!
