Utah, #1 state for porn consumption still believes same-sex marriage is sinful. Hmmmm.....

Apparently in Utah God's love is not enough, because a recent study just put them at the top of the list for porn consumption.

The study, done by a Harvard Business School professor," shows that Utah outpaces the more conservative states -- which all tend to purchase more Internet porn than other states".

Benjamin Elderman, the author of the study said even though demographics might have something to do with it, "Even when I control for income, age, education, and marital status, Utah residents still consume disproportionately more than people from other states".

An analysis put out by the Journal of Economic Perspectives also concluded that, "Online porn subscription rates are higher in states that enacted conservative legislation banning same-sex marriage or civil unions and where surveys show support for conservative positions on religion, gender roles and sexuality."

Republican Rep. Carl Wimmer, publicly stated, "I'm not a huge fan of censoring the Internet, but this is definitely something to look into to see if we can stop the influx of pornography into our society, because pornography is such a plague. It's rotten to the core and it hurts families and it hurts children."

You know what also hurts families and children? Treating Gays as second hand citizens and denying them their constitutional rights.

Why is it the most radical religious nuts end up having the biggest skeleton's in the closet? I'm sure Republican Rep. Carl Wimmer is deleting his giant porn account as we speak...or maybe not.
